So Im going to go ahead and not hold my breath for help with this issue as I have been given the runaround numerous times and had important hours of my time needlessly wasted recently.
2 weeks ago I called to get service transferred as I was moving. Ran into a hiccup at the time but finally got the service transfer request in a week before the move.
Moving day arrives and I am told to expect a technician from 5:30-6. I wait, take time out of moving to wait. 6:30 comes up and I call customer service as no one called or showed up. I am told that they cant get a hold of the tech and that i should expect a call in 30 minutes.
7:30 rolls around and still nothing. I call customer support again and am disconnected after explaining myself to the rep after a 15 minute hold. I call again, irritated now. Another 15 minute wait and I am told that tech is off work for the day.... The appointment which I had scheduled for the 1st, 1 week before the date and waited for 2.5 hours for and the tech went home and I am told that the soonest they can do anything is 5 days later....
I am furious now as my time has been wasted for nothing in a very disrectful manner. The rep could sense that I was angry as I began asking for compensation for my wasted time. She tells me she set up another appointment for today the 2nd, with a time frame of 1-3.
I wait till 3 rolls around and call and I am told that there was nothing put in for today and that the scheduling department doesnt work weekends. I am told that they will find out when they can take care of this issue tomorrow but after wasting 5 hours of my time and no phone calls I am not holding my breath for help here.
In all honesty I fully expect them to say that there is nothing they can do for a week and then turn around and bill me as though this transaction went flawless and I have been recieiving interent all along, which I havent.
This is Mediacoms last chance for me after the amount of time wasted and the disrespectful manner in which it was done. I have never had such poor customer service.
