Seriously this has been going on for months. My speeds during this time period drop well below even acceptable levels (worse than Prime). This was never a problem before the(both) speed increases. I know peak hours can cause some slow downs and lag time, but this is ridiculous, and yet so consistent.
I'm sure some will say "have you checked you computers, running bittorrent, streaming, bla bla bla." I know it is not coming from me or my connection on most of these days, at this time. Numerous times I have watched my network's in and out speeds and they hang around 1-2KB during this time frame. I have nothing that is bandwidth intensive operating and aside from just surfing the web, there is hardly much being used (or I'm not even home).
When DOCSIS 3.0 came out I was really impressed with Mediacom's speed and consistency..rebuilding my trust, however they have slowly lost that to the point where I pray for a fiber competitor to come to my region.
Here's my download speeds since Jan 1st. Notice all those dips, well guess what, 95% of them are at 21:00. Mediacom is consistent alright....at being terrible
