Granite Broadcasting Corporation - Blackout

Hi everyone, I just wanted to make those aware in the Duluth, MN, Peoria, IL, and Fort Wayne, IN markets that the local NBC programming has been blacked out due to contract negotiations. We have been engaged in negotiations with Granite Broadcasting Corporation for several months, but they are demanding we pay twice as much as our current contract. Since these costs are ultimately passed on to the customer, we have refused to meet their outrageous financial demands. Due to this, Granite pulled their broadcasting starting today (6/1/2015). We are still negotiating with Granite and hope this disruption will be short lived, but in the mean time we have replaced Granite NBC programming with NBC sports and My9 programming with the Hallmark Channel.
