Hello all, haven't had a problem in awhile so I've been absent from forum.
I'm getting what's best described as "psychedelic day-glow" looking artifact images from my plasma display. It'd be okay if one were "tripping" but a headache otherwise.
I swapped out patch chords. Re-booted everything including the plasma itself to no avail. Tightened and checked all coax cables. Also my downstairs analog TV sometimes shows "green face" imagery. but not always in concert with the plasma. although it does happen in step with the plasma when the situation is at it's worse.
I should mention this happens in lesser degrees sometime. But always starts off with (transmission interference looking) "day-glow red" wavy lines on the blacks. Then it goes full out day-glow imagery.
The picture sometimes comes back to normal. but not predictably. Meaning sometimes after it's warmed up sometimes when it's cold.
I'm wondering if anyone has experience this either intermittent or steady. Might Sunspots be my culprit? Or excessive heat on a faulty line connection? The reason being; I had this same situation last year at this time. It lasted for about 3 weeks then everything returned to normal.
Thanks for reading
P.S. I'm not 100% confidant that it's not my 8 year old "panni 42" plasma breakin' bad on me. But what gives me confidence of my set's reliability is the picture is absolutely brilliant when it does return. Plus as said; it happened last year as well got back to normal and started up again last week or so.
