[MO] Mediacom POPUP

The first time I seen the popup, it gave me a panic attack, seriously. It looks like a virus with a bad copy of Mediacom's logo on it. The graphic looked blurry and unprofessional and I thought it was a virus. Most all of the web pages the popup appears on are not loading and the pages that do load are hijacked by the injected popup code that appears at the top of every page (in an illegal?frame). What was going on, I thought? There are no 'limits' on this data connection. It was grandfathered (No excuses). I even have it in writing that data caps are not being enforced. Mediacom was never given permission in the contract to circumvent access to any webpage. Nor were they given permission to load any unwanted, unsolicited POPUP or inject any code that was obviously designed to create anxiety and frustration for Mediacom customers, as well as take up precious access time (customer's pay for/contract 'specific performance'), by interrupting and forcing the customer to continually reload webpages or work around THE ELECTRONIC NUISANCE created by the injected code. 1. I am personally exhausted from being forced to deal with the frustration and aggravation (NUISANCE) of the Mediacom popup warnings referencing data caps that are preventing webpages from loading. 2. The account was grandfathered per contract with Mediacom. (No excuses.**) 3. There should not be a POPUP warning about 'data allowance' on an 'unlimited' data connection, especially a popup that appears several times a day. For customers who do allow data caps it is only suppose to appear ONCE PER MONTH, per customer, if they opt-in. I even have it in writing that data caps are not being enforced. I'm not going to be coerced, manipulated or social engineered by this company. I will not press any button on the popup ("Okay, thanks.") to agree to anything, 'view usage', 'learn more', or to opt-out. (did not opt-in'). Consider this a formal request to cease and desist using the hijacking Mediacom popups on this connection. - Thanks **Reminder: (I believe in any Contract in Missouri ... to make changes to the original and to be binding, both parties to the contract must agree IN WRITING.) Section 432.010, RSMo 2000
