Two years and 20 tech visits later and I'm still getting lagspikes!! The only competition is DSL, if only I didn't need bandwidth. The USA is bad in rankings for internet service and Mediacom is horribly ranked for cable ISPs! How do they advertise reliability and fast speeds when they have "scheduled" maintenance every other night? When they are up I don't get the advertised speeds. There must be a LOT of cover ups in the small print. Every single thing I've experienced with this ISP has been awful. I have inconsistent bandwidth, bad pings and unacceptable jitter to the NEAREST servers on pingtests! Yet I'm stuck with DSL as the other option like it's 1999. Every single thing I've tried to fix my service with Mediacom has failed. Mediacom should of made sure that my service worked years ago yet they haven't. Anyone have any good ideas to get this part-time ISP to fix my service?
