This has been ongoing for several days now. Basically, my connection is exactly as it should be for most of the day, but sometime later in the evening each day it goes screwy.
When it happens, I've run the new speed test and it shows very low DL with fairly normal UL speeds. Everything on the modem diagnostics seems fine.
Also, when it happens, if I run WinMTR or just cmd ping, I tend to see up to 25% packet loss to the first mchsi gateway hop. Usually, if I reboot my modem it goes back to normal for a while, but not always. After a few hours it goes back to being very slow and lots of packet loss at the gateway. When I wake up in the morning and test it, it's back to normal and the cycle seems to continue.
I just rebooted the modem now, and speeds are workable again, but I'm not sure how long it will last. Basically, I'm not sure if it's my modem or the gateway.
