[IA] Intermittent Connection Issues

I've been having problems with my Mediacom internet connection since April 21st. I've had two different technicians out to look at the issue. When I called and talked with support they indicated there was signal loss. When the techs were out they indicated that everything looked fine to them. I've documented issues with the connection and I've even tried my old backup D-Link DCM-202 cable modem and I still have the same issue. The last tech that was out said it was my cable modem (Arris 6141) that was at fault. So I contacted them and they are in the process of sending me a replacement. I am currently using my older D-Link DCM-202 modem and it works just as sporadically as the previous Arris 6141. The problem seems to get much worse when I attempt to backup my computers to my AWS cloud. I'm told there is some monitoring that can be done to help isolate the issue but the techs that have been out haven't been helpful at all. They are here for all of about 5 minutes and the connection works for them for the short time they are here. But the longer I use the connection or the more data backup I do the more the problem happens. Does anyone have any suggestions on who I can talk with at Mediacom to get the issue permanently resolved. I'm close to going back to CenturyLink. Thanks.
