Our internet has been down ever since the power went out last night. Our power came back on in the early morning hours. It looks like Mediacom's social networking team has gone dark -- no posts on Twitter since yesterday. It would be really beneficial if Mediacom would proactively let us know there is a widespread outage and offer an estimated ETR. Some of my neighbors have called, and have been told it is affecting over 2,500 households and may not be repaired until 9pm tonight.
If there's any time that the social media team should be active, it's during a widespread outage. I'm really disappointed at the outage, but more disappointed that there's nothing being posted about it by your teams.
