First of my connection speed is fine. It's not always fine as I believe my area is over-utilized but when I'm RDP'd or VPN'd or using VoIP telephone it will just drop. When I run a continuous ping to 8.8.8.8 I get request timed out from time to time and of course when that happens the RDP, VPN or VoIP drops which is very annoying. The modem lights always look fine. Spoke with support who hit the modem a few times, then followed up when it continued a week later and they sent a tech out which I didn't think would help as it seems as it is a network issue (at my local level perhaps). Job 670183. Contractor came out and added a 3 way filter to 'bring levels in-line' and told me I needed a static IP. LOL.
Needless to say it's still occurring. Please help MediacomChad.
