I've been helping a small company my wife works for, who recently moved over to Mediacom Business, since then when they send emails to the popular email providers the emails are returned saying the ip address is on a block list. We've called Mediacom who deny the problem is with them, even though it worked until they switched to Mediacom. This happens to everybody inside of the company network. The problem only happens with services like hotmail (outlook), yahoo mail, gmail & qwest. They can email out fine to other email addresses (they can email me at my workplace without any problems).
I've used various blacklist checkers, and on some it lists the ip address is blacklisted, on others it doesn't show anything.
Here are some of the errors they receive depending on who they email :
SNT004-MC3F37.hotmail.com gave this error:
SC-001 (SNT004-MC3F37) Unfortunately, messages from 63.142.56.106 weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list
mpls-mf-03.inet.qwest.net gave this error:
Service unavailable; Client host [63.142.56.106] blocked using bl.qwest.net; IP 63.142.56.106 is locally blacklisted
Anybody have any idea why this is happening ?
