Hey there just posting to see what I can do. My internet wasn't working so I called Mediacom and they told me they couldent figure out the problem and would send some one to take a look on the 21st. The next day I found out some one had cut my cable cord outside my apartment. When I called to see if they could just send someone I was told I would be "put on a list as urgent" but until than my schedule date was for SEPTEMBER 1ST! After about 10 more minutes of arguing with the guy over the phone that I had a date for the 21st and not the 1st of next month he just brushed it aside and did the whole "is there anything else I can do for you" shpeel. This is ridiculous. I work part time on my computer along with school which starts the 22! I can't just sit around and not work for 11 days! What can I do here because I'm damn tempted to just cancel my internet. I had to wait almost a month to get the internet put into my apartment and only got it working for about a month... to now be told I have to wait almost another half a month for a line patch?!
