Motorola SURFBoard SBG6782-AC cable modem
Linksys WRT1900AC router
"High-speed" plan (100mbps)
We have been experiencing slow-downs and timeouts with web traffic for the past few weeks. It doesn't seem to affect smaller network payloads like ICMP (ping) or DNS lookups - often, when things are completely frozen in every browser across every device in the house, ping will happily tick away successful round-trips forever. Weird. But I think that has to do with signal quality.
Attached are screen shots of the cable modem's log and and connection diagnostics pages. The cable modem's log is showing lots of T3 and T4 timeouts and "no ranging response recieved" entries over the past days and weeks. Channel 1 (of 8) is showing 14,519 "Corrected" entries and more worrisome, 14,243 "Uncorrectables". I am not knowledgeable enough to know whether the power and SNR readings are good or bad.
It is getting to be EXTREMELY frustrating. MediacomChad, HELP!
