For the past few months starting around 7PM our internet becomes unusably slow, to the point that I can't stream anything from Netflix or HBO Go without it buffering every minute or so. Called Mediacom, and get ready for this; they told me to call my router manufacturer as they can't see anything from their end. I mean, sure they can't see anything as I have no issues during work hours when customer service is open.
I tried everything I could think, restarting, changing cables, connecting directly to the modem but nothing helps. Once 7PM rolls around things slow down to a crawl. I did a speed test on Medicom website and it shows 3.5Mbs, as a simple site can take up to a minute to load.
