[KS] abysmal service, no one will acknowledge or work on it.

I am so angry at the moment I can't see straight. Mediacom's service is not worth the $120 a month we pay. I note from my phone records I've called CS on the 9th, 17th, and 18th of this month and today over dropped out internet service. I know there were other days as well that I didn't bother calling as the service would come back, until it dropped again, and would come on again. I had to get into an argument with the people in the local office to get our service down from a ridiculous $180 a month, dropping HBO for one(it can be purchased cheaper online!!!) and then the office had the gall to email and tell me I'd have to pay another $5 if I wanted to keep our Prime+ and we discovered soon after that our pathetically old dvr would no longer function as a dvr as the kid had removed that function. TV is never affected with these recent outages, it is the internet service that drops out over and over. I might add our entire drop was replaced including connectors on all cable up to our modem not long ago. The repairman coming to the house tomorrow is going to be spinning his wheels for nothing, I had six responses from others having the same problem within five minutes of posting on Facebook a short time ago. I also spoke on the phone with a CS rep who made all kinds of offers that would be jacked up within a year and said, and I quote her: "you can call back in a year and renegogiate". Why the hell can't I just get a fair price for reliable service without having to haggle every year???? Why can't I get reliable service for the nearly $1500 we spend on this per year? It is a totally worthless effort to call Mediacom CS when problems arise. Do they not have caller ID to show them who's calling, a computer to show them who, where and what the account number is, and what equipment we have? I have been a Mediacom customer for over 16 years and have seen little improvement in anything they do, always ancient equipment, always behind other services. Always an aggravation to deal with. Always raising their charges for worse and worse service. I just received a $68.32 check for a class action law suit against Chase for robocalling people. Perhaps it's time for a class action lawsuit against Mediacom for failure to perform. Who's with me? Chad, Baldwin City KS and the surrounding area if you're wondering. And don't bother asking my customer #, it's not my equipment that is the problem!
