[IL] Mediacom Internet Problem

Just upgraded to 200mbps internet through mediacom. Got a brand new coax cable installed from the pole to my house that connects to a fitting that also has a new line connected to the fitting and that runs inside of my house to my brand new technicolor modem. Last week I didn't have internet for 7 days because of my technician failed to see if I even had internet before he left. Super frustrating. Anyway a week later another technician came out and ran a new line to the inside of my house. So after the technician left I have experienced less than par internet speeds of up to only 60mbps. I have a NetGear Nighthawk wifi router and have changed every channel on the router itself to see if it's the router that has been slacking. It isn't that. I have done the basic unplug and restart everything with no end to my problem. I can't even play Xbox online because the internet speed is so terrible and my Xbox is right next to the router!!! If anybody has any helpful input to help me see this through it would be very much appreciated. Take care everyone! Schulte
