So a little history, we've been with Mediacom for years. Earlier in the year we were shipped a new modem (TC8305C) and had our speed auto-upgraded to what was now the new base speed (Internet 60 I believe). Everything was fine for months. In fact we've never really had any issues ever beyond forgetting to pay the bill on time ....
Last week I called and upgraded us to Internet 100, as we kept on hitting our bandwidth cap and having to pay extra. Ever since we have very frequent and long disconnects. Restarting the modem can sometimes reconnect, but not always. Talking to support they say it's something on my end and want to schedule a tech to come - in 10 days! I can't see this being anything on my end other than the new modem and speed upgrade? When it doesn't connect only one channel bonds and locks. When it does connect all the signal-to-noise and power levels look right down the middle and it gets speeds up to 100mbps. What other info can I provide?
Appreciate any help
