I don't know why I torture myself dealing with Mediacom. Upgraded to Ultra 105 this afternoon. Woman supposedly provisioned modem. No change in speed.
Called a second time to talk to a guy who didn't what he was doing. Supposedly provisioned it again. Instead somehow the modem got deauthorized and then I had no internet.
Called a third time. Had to give MAC info to get modem registered again. Woman claimed she provisioned it for the Ultra 105. I told her there was no change in speed. She said it would happen gradually and I needed to wait a couple of hours. What?!?
I cannot express the level of frustration in dealing with these people. They don't care about anything except trying to sell you their phone service.
Speed still at old levels. Ridiculous.
