I'm in charge of provisioning modems for our tenants (bulk account). This week, I've had nothing but trouble. Maestro has an attitude, apparently.
I've been getting "Server error: Could not automatically detect the cable modem MAC address" errors, issues with getting "you have no products to activate" after hitting the agree button on the EULA, the modem not rebooting during activation, and the latest, today, was after 6 attempts to provision, it finally worked, I tested it, then took the modem to the tenants' apartment and hooked it up, and it wouldn't sync (DS and US lock, but no DHCP offer...)
We emailed our commercial account rep, and got told to have the tenants call CS if they had problems, with no other help.
I personally expect a little better, given we spend over 5k a month...
Is this something that someone a little higher up then Jeff can look into, before I recommend dropping Mediacom and going with another provider? I'm getting really tired of seeing "internet provider sucks" on our move-in reports...
