I have been having trouble for several months now with my internet cutting in and out at certain parts of the day. At first, I thought this was an issue with my modem/router provided by media com. I was sent a new modem/router in the mail and this issues still persists. The new modem is a technicolor TC8715.
Like I said, the internet to my modem will cut out several times a day. Usually a few times in the morning, cutting in and out for about an hour. I wont experience this issue again until mid afternoon, and will cut in and out for about an hour. This happens again in the late evening. I did contact Media com about this issue and the support agent told me that they see my modem has extreme highs and lows in connectivity throughout the day.
I tried to get them to come out to my apartment at one point but did not have much luck getting them out here.
I am extremely frustrated with this! I want to be able to use my internet without interruption. After all, that is why I pay over $70 a month and have their modem/router. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be the cause of this issue? The coax connection on the wall perhaps?
