Hey, I have a 50mgps package, and I have had nothing but problems since upgrading from 30mgps to 50 about 2 weeks ago... First the sales rep that I upgraded with said I wouldn't need to upgrade my modem to a doschs 3 modem, had problems, called back, and eventually figured out that I would need the upgraded modem... The only time I get even remotely the download speeds I am paying for is after I run a power cycle on my modem and router, then I get close to 50 mgps download speed but it only lasts for about 10 minutes and plummets back down to around 1-2 mgps download. Talked to a rep Friday night on the phone and he said that the only time they could possibly send a tech out to my place is next Sunday, I balked at that a little, and they said they would put a "special" order on my tech request so I would be taken care of if someone cancelled their appointment this week. However, the last time I talked to mediacomm on the phone this morning the lady said that I was down the list a little bit... I am extremely unhappy with the services I am paying for and am seriously considering switching Internet services just based on the poor customer service I have been dealt. Oh and on top of all that our cable boxes got deactivated for no reason yesterday, my wife had to call and they re activated them and have us a credit on my account... Very unhappy.
