I just got one of those Mediacom DNS redirects to a page saying I was sent a new modem and have until Oct 30 to install it to avoid service interruption.
As far as I know, I'm still on the 100mbit plan, as that's the fastest they offer here, and I've had a DOCSIS 3.0 modem for over a year, so I'm not sure why I'm getting that notification.
I called customer service, and she said she couldn't find any open order for a new modem. I did swap out the leased modem for my own well over a week ago. Could that be why?
