Yesterday I noticed a Mediacom tech outside of my house along the road. After a while, the tech come to my door and asked if I had been having problems with my internet service to which I answered, no. I hadn't called about issues or anything. Then he rambled off some stuff that looked like an issue and asked if he could hook up his diagnostic tool to where my modem is hooked up. Checked out fine. So he leaves my house but is still sitting outside in his van for a while.
Maybe 20 minutes after he left my modem resets again. I unplug it for 30 seconds plug it back in and works for another 30 minutes or so then reboots. Keeps doing this all night. I go to use it this morning and I get the Mediacom walled garden activation crap. So I go ahead and reactivate. Modem is still rebooting after 20-30 minutes.
I have a Google OnHub router and it does speed tests on it's own occasionally and logs it. Up until that tech visit, it was consistently 120+ mbps. Now it's 90 mbps. I have Internet 100. See attachments. I can provide account info via PM.
