Cable, Internet and phone have been down in JC since 9am. Mediacom automated system earlier estimated repair of fiber cut to be fixed at 5:30p central. Still down nearly two hours later. No new ETR. This is sad. Mediacom STILL has no backup paths to provide at least some service in the event of a cable cut, even now that they want to be a telephone company. "Oh sorry, no way to call 911 because you chose Mediacom phone service." How many times a year does this happen? I've lost count. I need to start logging it.
