I've been living in a new apartment for less than a month now. For the past week or two we've been having slow downs in the middle of the night on our 100 Mbit connection. The speeds will drop all the way down to an abysmal 0.1 Mbit or lower for stretches of time greater than 10-15 minutes. The connection will come back to full speed, but will drop back off.
Edit: I can watch YouTube videos and get connection speeds of about 3-7 Mbit/s(Looking at Stats for Nerds). When I do any kind of speed test whether it's Google's, SpeedTest's, etc, the download speed is always less than 1 Mbit/s and the upload 1-20 Mbit/s. My bad connection has been persisting now for over an hour and after to modem power cycles.
Edit:2 I'm directly connected to the modem/router with ethernet and a gigabit connection between M/R and PC. My area code is 31709.
