I subscribed to Mediacom's 1 gig service and had it installed yesterday. Unfortunately the network card in my laptop doesn't support gig Ethernet and the Ubee gateway will only allow me to get up to around 290mbps on wireless. I have an Asus rt68R that I attempted to bridge, I called mediacom and they claimed to of put the modem in bridge mode. I connected the router but all it's doing is saying that DHCP isn't properly working with the ISP. How can I get my router to work with mediacom? Thank you.
