I've been with Mediacom since 1981.
On June 12th I received a call from Mediacom offering a bundled service with VOIP and an attractive price. Today I learned that the rep made a number of misrepresentations to make the sale. I was told that there was no contract. I was told that I didn't have to accept their VOIP and that I could keep the modem that I own and continue to use my Ooma Telo so there would be no installation fee or service visit. The escalated year two price was misrepresented.
Yesterday Mediacom called to set up the service visit. I learned that that I had agreed to a contract under false pretenses. Today I canceled the bundle.
If all that isn't bad enough, today I learned that Mediacom no longer has a support forum.
