WPSD 706 has been having some kind of line picture noise issue the past week or so that affects prime time tv viewing. I had a similiar issue about a year ago on channels in the 770's and the issue was resolved in the old mediacom forums, but I cannot remember what the technical name for the issue was.
When it happens lines from side to side cause the picture to 'squelch' and it progressively gets worse until the entire picture is unwatchable ......then takes some time.......the progressively gets better and evenually goes away. Sometimes this takes 5 minutes from start to end, and other times it happens for an hour or two before it clears up. Channel 706 is the only channel this is happening on.
