I live literally right down the road from a Mediacom office, and the website claims I'm in a service area, but I can't actually get Mediacom at my address? About a year ago, I had a huge struggle with constantly trying to get service at my address and technicians always supposedly being scheduled but never actually showing up. I called today after getting yet another promotional paper in the mail about service with them to get my address removed from the mailing list, but then I got to thinking...is there a way to get them to come to my address? It would be amazing to have actual high-speed internet without a ridiculously low satellite internet data cap or an absurdly high price tag, both of which I have currently.
I can't imagine it'd be too much for them to lay cables for a street that is less than half a mile from their office, but who knows?
