Not sure if its issues with mediacom or not, just trying to narrow the problem down.
I have my own Tivo setup, one large Pro box and one mini box. I used to use Mediacom's own Tivo setup but it was cheaper for me to own my own stuff. My setup did work just fine, but tonight I swapped out the rental modem from Mediacom with my own modem that I purchased through mediacom and this modem even gives a light for MoCA, which the last one didn't.
Anyways, my mini keeps throwing a C421 error because it can't find my Tivo pro anymore. I have power cycled and force connected all the tivo stuff and my modem/router but it still won't find it. But it still connects just fine through internet and other apps through the coaxial connection.
Wondering if anyone here might know something? I'm also wondering if the new modem would be somehow setup for Mediacom's tivo boxes instead of my own, since I haven't had the chance to cancel that part of my service yet.
