I went online in the last few days on Mediacoms website to see what specials there are out there and I noticed they had a good promotion for The Local Plus Tv/60 mbps package. I placed an online order and it gave me a prompt to contact them now to schedule the installation or wait up to 72 hours for someone to contact me. I waited 2 days and no call so I called the number and I talked to a very nice agent who was ready to set up the install but then proceeded to tell me the package is not available in my area and its an error on their site. I live in Sussex County, Delaware. He stated the family tv package is the lowest tv package available in my area. I thought it was Required by the FCC to require cable companies to offer the Broadcast Basic Tier to all customers. I decided not to pursue the installation after that. Has anyone else ever ran into that problem before?
