I have the 60gb internet with Mediacom, and it randomly spikes high packet loss. It really seems to happen when I'm in a gaming session. It could be fine for a half hour, and it'll just randomly go out and back in instantly. Technicians came out twice last year, swapped modems, adapters, tested signal strength, etc. The issue was never resolved. It's an issue I've had for over a year. I even dropped Mediacom for Verizon DSL a couple months ago due to it. The DSL has been stable, but unfortunately too slow for gaming and streaming, so I recently switched back to Mediacom.
I don't have any issues streaming or watching shows with Mediacom, but if I'm in the middle of a gaming session and it goes out, it's extremely frustrating. I can't be disconnecting randomly. I'm hardwired from the modem into the pc. I have no idea what the issue can be, I've tried different pcs, wifi, ethernet cords, settings, everything.
