Mediacom will lose money on me thanks to this cap

Got my first notice in the web browser yesterday, at least the first one that I noticed. It apparently was an 'end of cycle' notice of how much I had used for that cycle. I had used almost 80%, but from here on out, I aim to have that usage at 99%, each and every month. So here's the problem. Before, with no cap, I just used whatever I needed to use. Some months that would be high, others would be low. I haven't checked my history (if they show your history) to see exactly what my past usage has been like. But now, this cap has effectively become a 'use it or lose it' plan. I never know how much I'm going to use, or exactly when. So, in order to avoid an overage charge the next month, I'm going to have to make sure I maximize my usage in the current month. From now on, I'm going to watch the meter and try to use 149Gb's each and every month, even if that means downloading stuff I'm not even sure that I want, because I don't want to end up with an overage the next month. I'm sure I won't be the only one following this method. We don't have much choice, now. It's like a cell phone plan with no rollover....nobody likes 'em.
