I've been a happy Mediacom customer for many years but these last few months have been hell. Downstream traffic works wonders. I get what I'm paying for there + some so thats a plus. Upstream has been another story. There are times that it will separately work just fine, but most often than not there problems. I was originally signed up for the 100/10 package but most of the time it never exceeds 5mps. Then I went ahead and upgraded to the 200/20 package still the same. Hell I would be happy with just the 5 megs but It cant even hold that consistent. Trying to upload videos to youtube or streaming to Twitch it will drop to nothing.
Have had many phone calls and many tec visits. Been told its been escalated to level 2 and area management. This is just frustrating I just want the service I'm subscribed 2.
