I just moved into a newly built house which is in Mediacom territory yet not serviceable.
My nextdoor neighbor ( which I can walk to in 30 seconds of not less) and all the houses next to them have Mediacom. I am the first house on the street that's not serviceable according to the customer service reps and my own research.
I have spoken to all the cable providers in town and they all say it's "Mediacom territory" yet Mediacom refuses so serve me.
Every time I talk to customer service they just give me the run around. They tell me that there's been many houses on my street who have inquired about Mediacom internet( I'm assuming via the service address check website) and we will be serviceable "soon" ( Whether that's 10 years or 1 month no one knows).
I've spent hours and hours on the phone and in person and no one wants to help. I'm at my wit's end!!!
TLDR;
Who do I need to talk to, to get a line run to my house? And is there something I need to say on the phone or in person at the office to get the ball rolling so I can get an estimate on when and how much it'll be to get service at my house?
