I have had constant issues since having Mediacom installed 2 months ago. Multiple phone calls and tech visits, and still issues. I am supposed to have 1gb speeds, but my wifi runs between 60 and 300 mbps. It often drops out and disconnects. I've been told the levels are off at the tap and it is an old tap that they don't use anymore. They have adjusted levels a few times, but won't replace the tap, even thought techs have requested. Another issue beside speed is the difficulty connecting with certain apps and playstore downloads won't start. They will connected instantly when I use mobile data or another wifi provider. I assume this is a DNS issue, but I cannot access that in their modem. What can I do?
