I have a Silicondust HDHomerun with a rented Cablecard from Mediacom. Recently I lost access to some of the channels I previously received. In the HDHomerun menu for the cablecard shows Card Authentication as successful, but card validation shows as none. I tried calling customer support, but they couldn't resolve the issue. I understand the equipment I use is less common than TiVo or other provider supplied equipment, but I'm sure it could still be resolved without a technician being sent out.
