[RANT] Mediacom Customer Service Only gets WORSE

It has been a while since I had to call Mediacom, their service has been adequate for the last couple years. But the new Local rates that went into effect recently has me looking at other options for TV service including cutting the every increa$ing co$t of the Cable Cord. Which recently went to $21 a month for locals in my area along with a stick it in your eye increase of a Tivo box. Oh forgot that RSN increase on sports I NEVER watch. So I called Mediacom Customer Support today, they need to rename it Screw You support, You are on your own. First I got this recorded message about how poor support was going to be because of this and that. IOW don't expect much. I said representative when I got the chance and had this horrible LOUD music deafen me in both ears before I could hit the volume control. So I waited and waited and waited and finally the music JUST stopped and that was that, silence and silence and finally dropped the call. So I was not going do that again so I tried the Mediacom Chat which was even worse. I got poor Glen who must of been trying to field 50 chats all at once. All I wanted to know was what my options were for increasing my internet speed and or eliminating The Tv Service. After 20 minutes I gave up, either Glen was a really slow typer or taking a snooze.. Later on I realized why so many customers give Mediacom bad marks, and why so many of us hate Mediacom. They REALLY are a crummy company that cares little for Customers..... Please don't tell me about MCChad, I am well versed on MChad and his talents but WHY should I have to resort to him just to get information so I can make a decision on where I want to go this year with TV service??
