I opened a thread here a few months ago, and never got a reply. I wanted to follow-up on this, if anyone has any ideas. My boyfriend lives in Powells Point, NC, which is in Curritcuck County, NC. He has had cable for years, but never had decent reception on any "lower" channels. I really don't understand how a cable company can provide this sort of service? I attached a couple of pictures from the TV as we were watching on Sunday. As you can see, the SuperBowl was not even viewable for us. I don't understand this. When he called Mediacom a couple of months ago to ask, he was told that he needed to "pay for upgraded service", that "the basic plan does not provide digital content". How can this be??
