Here is some ground work..I have 2 RNG150N boxes hooked to a Jayhawk box. The week before I went to spring break we had one of the RNG150N boxes replaced due to a malfunction (horrible lag). I had to remove the old box as a client from the Jayhawk because we kept ending up with ghost recordings when I tried to delete something that had been recorded on the old malfunctioned box even after unplugging the Jayhawk and plugging it back in (I can't remember exact procedure but involved turning the box off and getting into the menu that way). That erased everything that had been recorded on that other box and we had no more ghosts from that box. Now, whenever I delete something from the other old box (not the newly replaced one) it leaves a ghost recording (grayed out, not accessible, but still listed on whole house dvr). Unplugging the Jayhawk and plugging it back in will reset the Jayhawk and remove ghost recordings. Any ideas before I call and have another service call? I am sure it is something easy to just reset something in a menu or disconnect the the old box remove client and reinstall but I don't want to try anything until I hear from the gurus.
