Actually, I have no idea how much area this effects as there is zero information out there
Our net* has been out since about 11pm-ish Sunday night. I'm sure it's storm related, but is there *any* information about what's going on? Every day, they say "this afternoon"
Fortunately the techs have been nice (when I called first yesterday, the annoying robo-lady didn't say my area had an outage, so I continued through), and even offered me credit, but all they seem to know is "they're working on it." At least the power company keeps people updated via twitter or whatnot saying at least how severe something is with at least a vague-but-valid ETA. It'd be nice to not reset my modem every hour or so in the hopes that that'll get it to finally pick up a revived signal. If it's something catastrophic, I certainly wouldn't bother more than a couple times
Luckily I have unlimited data on my phone plan since I have absolutely no idea how long this might go on (or heck, even if it's just my block they're working on or something
)
*I dumped cable a few months ago, so just have internet service. Hence no reference to cable/phone.
