This is mainly for Chad, but we recently had a pretty hellacious storm come through and it has dislodged the drop from the pole to our house from a bracket (on the house), so the cable that used to run roughly 12-15 feet off the ground is now sagged and is probably 4-5 feet off the ground at the lowest point. I have no clue if anything happened on the pole side - I would doubt it from what I can see.
Is this something that would require a paid service call to be resolved? From what I can tell, there is no effect on the service, but I don't want to have something happen with a cable well within ground's reach. It looks like an easy fix with a ladder but I'm not sure I want to get into it for liability reasons if something does go wrong.
Thanks in advance.
