After many months of great service, the last few days in Burlington have been horrible.
Its seems to be a lack of b/w that comes and goes. I don't know if it has to do with the new speed increase or not, but i couldn't get 15 k/s down from the newsgroups, or even load the page at speedtest.net.
It seems when the connection drops and comes back up its good. i ran a speedtest finally and got 11 down and near 10 up. then about 45 minutes later, speeds were as normal. now for the 3rd time in 2 hours the "online " light on the modem started blinking and i'm offline again. Oh and btw, MCs new automated tech support really sucks, I couldn't get through to anyone real.
I suppose part of this could be i have a 4x4 modem rather then the 8x4. but if it was going to affect my connection reliability, I'd have thought they'd alert me to this before it got to this point. Anyone else having these issues?
Forgot to mention I'm on the 150/20 plan.
