[MO] Mediacom Reverse DNS Delegation

Hi! I am new to Mediacom after being a lifetime att/dsl customer. I signed up for the 50/5 business package with 13 static ip's. I have to say, VERY fast speeds and very happy with 80% guaranteed service. Not quite as happy with the price ($230) as my uverse 45 Mbps with static was around $110 but so far i am much happier with how Mediacom works (no uverse gateway!). Here is my one and only issue. When i was speaking with the sales person (for over a week just to get every detail) i was told that i could have rDNS delegated to my name servers, no problem at all just call and they'll do it. Well, i called and was told by two people that Mediacom does NOT delegate rDNS to people (and said he had no idea how that would even work). I explained that i needed this feature and to make sure that he couldn't do it. He stated he couldn't. Is this true? Can Mediacom not delegate rDNS to someones own name servers in that ip range? This was a 5 minute setup with ATT and i find it hard to believe with as good as Mediacom has been so far that they cannot/will not do this. And yes, i realize that i can call and have them add a domain to an ip so their servers will return it but that is not the way i want to do it, it takes forever to actually accomplish (so far 12 hours) and requires a phone call every single time. So far its just my mail server that is suffering but with my setup especially on the test servers i need to change the PTR records several times for testing and need it to take effect immediately. Some email servers are even getting as picky as to not just want a valid PTR record for an ip its getting mail from but wants the name servers to match for the PTR and A records! In short, please help!
