So i ordered the Ultra Plus and phone service and had it installed today. My speeds weren't quite what I expected so in checking, i see the modem the tech brought and installed was a Docsis 2.0 (Arris TM601A).
I contacted Mediacom CS and was informed i needed to go to the local office to swap out the modem for a Docsis 3.0.
In short, the guy brought the wrong equipment for what I ordered and now I have to do all the leg work to correct the mistake? Am I being sensitive, or does that sound like something Mediacom should correct in the least inconvenient to me way?
