We are getting charged for going over the 250 GB. I really think this is because of us watching Netflix streaming the majority of the time. One day they say that we are at the 250 GB, so they are charging us an extra $10 and within a few days, they say that we are over 300 GB.
I think that the FTC should be made aware of this. We got the cable for faster internet access and using WIFI, but our bill was over $190 this past month. They said that we were over 450 GB. There is nothing that I have downloaded on my computer to even come to a small percentage of that, so it has to bee the internet streaming to our TV.
My friend has WIFI through his phone company and has no problems streaming to his TV, so I think I am going to give that a try. Just because they are the only cable company servicing our area doesn't mean that there aren't alternatives. Talk about a monopoly...
