Storm came thru Urbandale about 5:50am and I noticed the Internet and phone modem are flashing. Power cycled and same. Called Mediacom support at 6:15am and got the typical... No problems reported and we will send a tech out Tuesday between 8-10am.
I work from home 100% and rely on my 150mb service to make a living.
Now I'm in limbo and without Internet or phone! Its sad this is a common occurrence with Mediacom and takes forever for the service to be restored and weeks for it to properly work again.
If I preformed like this at my job I would be out of work!
I work in the telecom industry, so I asked a ton of questions, however the tech either didn't know or referred to canned responses .. "A tech will be out to look at it" !!
True customer service no longer exists!
Totally pissed customer.
