Hi. As of overnight my Mediacom public IP address has changed from a 173.25.#.# to a 50.80.#.# . I wouldn't especially care, except that IP geolocation shows my new IP address is in Valdosta, Georgia. A friend in town says his new IP address shows as being in New Jersey. Are others seeing similar things? If so, hopefully Mediacom will be getting the appropriate notifications out to get the IP address geolocation updated. Oh, and traceroutes from other ISPs like Centurylink to my old IP address now head to and stop at Comcast public routers. Wonder if that means the address space has been transferred to Comcast?
