Mediacom Retaining Good Customers?

My village recently had a wireless Internet company start operations. The Antennas are located on our water tower about 400 feet from my house. I am now getting constant mailings from this Company (called WISPER) for very competitive rates for new customers and free installation. No Caps, unlimited and speeds up to 20mbps depending on how much you want to pay.The other day a WISPER sales person stopped at the house to talk to me. They are really promoting this new service in my village. Presently I have 5-6 months left on a 2 year Mediacom contract, Internet only. When my contract expires Mediacom rates will be much higher than the wireless rates. It is very tempting to think about leaving Mediacom. For the most part Mediacom Internet here in my village is good. I get speeds more than I pay for. It has been reliable with few outages. I like others do not like Caps, however I never go over 30 megs a month or so anyway. I do not game, just usual internet browsing and Netflix sometimes. When my contract is up I will be charged an extra $15 because I refuse to get Mediacom's substandard TV or Telephone Service. I always pay my Mediacom bills on time. I refuse to pay this $15 charge, I feel it is not fair. I will go back to DSL before I pay $15 a month for something I refuse to get. My question is: Does Mediacom try to retain present in good standing customers like myself or do they only give the good promos to NEW customers? I would like to stay with Mediacom if possible but since I now have other reasonable Internet possibilities than DSL I may leave Mediacom if I can not get another long term promo.
