We've had 4 tech calls in the last month. Our internet keeps dropping off intermittently for 30 seconds to 30 minutes.
They have replaced a barrel, added a splitter behind the modem, removed said splitter and replaced an old trap in the line and then the next tech out the same splitter back in.
This last tech says that our modem/router combo is bad (about a year old). He said that it is bad because the signal the modem reports coming into it is different that the signal his meter reads. Is this accurate? Do I need to try a modem and router from them and see if it fixes the issue?
